Rusted Elements
My Rusted Elements Series, completed in 2015, mixes the decay of rust with the freshness of organic structures. Each painting is on 260 pound Arches watercolor paper mounted on top of a birch frame. Then assorted rusted metal objects and rusted papers are added to create a 3-D painting.
The paintings are covered in professional grade epoxy resin. Each watercolor collage is 24x36, or 25.5x39.5
